Tammy's Experience & Philosophy

With decades of experience in healthcare administration and senior care services, Tammy brings practical knowledge and compassion to her public service. Her experience in senior case management has taught her that successful solutions require more than expertise—they require empathy, understanding, and a genuine commitment to improving quality of life. This is the change that is needed now more than ever in elected office.

"Aging with dignity isn't just about care—it's about connection, purpose, and quality of life," Tammy explains. This philosophy extends to her vision for Federal Way as a whole: creating a community where every resident, regardless of age, can connect, find purpose, and enjoy an excellent quality of life.

Through her work helping families navigate difficult transitions, Tammy has developed strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find consensus among diverse viewpoints—qualities essential for effective city council service. She regularly conducts workshops on "Navigating Senior Care Options" and has become a respected voice on issues affecting aging populations and their families.

Tammy is committed to making Federal Way a city that values all its residents—from teens to seniors—and provides them with the resources, safety, and opportunities they deserve.
